2 Part Lesson - If the opponent prevents you from pummeling your shin inside to attack with the 1 Leg X-Guard, structure yourself against his weight and grab his lead leg to initiate the Single Leg. Your body needs proper alignment to stand while carrying his weight, so the opponent will press against your head before freeing his leg. Counter his escape by parrying against his hands, locking his foot with your legs, and cupping his knee as you stand with posture.
