Marcelo discusses with Savannah several options with 2on1 and their respective contingencies based on posture (opponent kneeling or standing) and control (friction differences within gi or nogi). He prefers to attack the legs when an opponent rips out of a 2on1 or Arm-Drag; the Double Leg can be found against a kneeling opponent while an Ankle-Pick can be hit when they are standing above. Oftentimes, these attacks can lead to submissions based upon the reaction of your opponent; e.g. if your opponent is able to defend your Ankle Pick and leads with their head back inside, you can snap their head down for a Guillotine Choke.
